How to update your business name, address, and tax ID

Update the legal details that appear on your invoices.

Overview

Your business name, address, and tax ID appear on every invoice you send. Keeping them accurate is essential for professional credibility and tax compliance.

Updating your details

Go to Settings > Business Profile:

1Edit your Legal Business Name (as it appears on official documents).
2Update your business address (this appears in the invoice header).
3Enter your Tax ID (VAT number, EIN, or ABN depending on your country).
4Click "Save Changes". All future invoices will display the updated information.

Important

Changing your business name does not retroactively update previously sent invoices. If a correction is needed on a past invoice, you will need to void it and reissue.
